
Ms. Alyea has nearly 15 years experience representing corporations in litigation, administrative and transactional matters arising from commercial, environmental and insurance recovery issues. She has experience conducting negotiations, jury trials, bench trials, alternate dispute resolution procedures, appeals and due diligence, where she has obtained favorable results. She has handled matters before New York state courts and federal courts in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Missouri.

Represented a major airline conducting clean up at an international airport and litigating to recover costs from other parties;
Assisted a major newspaper publication in obtaining business interruption coverage monies due to the events of September 11, 2001;
Represented a manufacturing company in appeal of a federal court declaratory judgment action denying insurance recovery;
Represented a computer company in a patent infringement jury trial and subsequent appeal in federal court;
Served as a co-arbitrator/allocator for a large group of parties seeking to allocate cleanup costs associated with contaminated sediments at federal superfund site in Tacoma, Washington;
Represented a major pharmaceutical company selling current and former manufacturing assets;
Represented a private equity fund acquiring a chemical transportation company and managing post-closing environmental and insurance recovery matters;
Represented a chemical manufacturing company to successfully modify cleanup requirements at a federal superfund site.
